挑袜子的诀窍 / The secret of choosing a good pair of socks

「纯棉」并不一定真的好！因为天然的棉纱弹性很差，要想袜子穿起来舒服合脚且具有良好的耐性，混纺一定比例的聚酯纤维（如氨纶）是非常必要的。

100% "Cotton" is not necessarily the good stuff! Because of the poor natural elastic, socks have to be blended in with some sort of polyester (ex: spandex) for fitting and comfortable.

羊毛是另一种常见的材料，特点是保暖性能极佳，但相对较贵。

Wool is the other kind of common material, which is characterized by excellent thermal performance, but it is relatively expensive.

聚酯纤维(锦纶、氨纶、涤纶、晴纶...等等)的特点是弹性好，但吸汗性能差。一定比例（如5%-10%）的聚酯纤维混纺在棉或羊毛中是必要的。一般来说，由氨纶 / 莱卡参与混纺的袜子品质会比较好。

Polyester fiber (ex: nylon, spandex, polyester, acrylic... etc.) is characterized by good elasticity, but not the sweat absorbing performance. A certain percentage (such as 5%-10%) is necessary for polyester blend in cotton or wool material. In general, spandex / lycra blended socks will be the better quality for socks.

有些品牌会分男袜和女袜，但其实多数都通用(Wooly's就是這麼貼心)。如果买分码的品牌，当然尽量买合适的。

Some brands offer both male and female categories, but actually most of the goods are apply to both genders (Wooly's is so great). If you buy a pair of socks that has specific sizing regulation, of course you have to make sure it is your right size then.

除了常见的"平板"织法，还有一种袜底采用了"毛圈"织法。通过将棉纱织成环状来增大与皮肤的接触面积，增强吸汗能力，同时也更加舒适耐磨。
