Guests from Grimaldi Group
Visited Hunter Marine
Recently, guests from Italy’s Grimaldi Group, a prominent player in the global ro-ro shipping industry, paid a visit to Shanghai Hunter Marine Equipment Co., Ltd. for exchanges and discussions.
The two sides held in-depth talks on such topics as the progress of existing cooperation projects, technological innovation and upgrading, and the expansion of future cooperation, and reached broad consensus on further deepening strategic collaboration and jointly exploring the international marine equipment market.
Hunter Marine extended a warm welcome to the guests from Grimaldi Group, and gave the visiting attendees a comprehensive introduction to the company’s development history, core technological advantages and achievements in international layout.
As the only enterprise in China that integrates independent R&D, manufacturing and services as a marine roll reduction R&D institution and supplier, Hunter Marine has been deeply engaged in the field of marine attitude control for many years. It has developed a complete range of roll reduction products including fin stabilizer, tank stabilizer, anti-heeling system and gyro stabilizer.
Relying on superior product performance and a sound service system, the company has successfully established itself among the world’s mainstream suppliers. The fin stabilizer of 'Hunter Marine' brand is listed in the "Directories of Selected Maritime Equipment Brands in China" and "the Shanghai Innovative Product Recommendation Catalog".
This visit is a full affirmation of the sound cooperation between the two parties in the early stage. Previously, Hunter Marine successfully won the bid for the project of 9 sets of fin stabilizers for high-end ro-ro ships of Grimaldi Group, once again setting a new record among Chinese shipbuilding enterprises for securing the largest single overseas order for fin stabilizers.
Going forward, the two parties will continue to focus on the development trend of green shipping, strengthen technical collaboration in such areas as the iteration and upgrading of marine roll reduction technologies and the R&D of low-carbon and environmentally friendly solutions, and jointly address the opportunities and challenges brought by the decarbonization transition of the global shipping industry.
