On the summer afternoon of July 25th, R Arterra’s Zhujiajiao showroom welcomed a distinctive event—The Breath of Design: A Realm of Inspiration, a special salon dedicated to designers. Set against a backdrop of gentle light and natural installations, the event brought together creators, designers, and lifestyle aesthetes in a warm, tactile space to engage in meaningful conversations around creation, inspiration, and emotional resonance.
步入展厅，迎面而来的，是一组自然生长般的手工花艺装置，枝叶舒展、花材丰沛，在光影的衬托下形成一幅流动的立体画卷。红蓼、绣球、火焰苞、玉米穗等时令植物以极富生命力的姿态交织其中，仿佛将室外的大地气息引入室内。托举花艺的器皿、桌面上的手工陶碗、藤编垫、香氛蜡烛、玻璃水瓶、编织工艺小物，全为R Arterra出品。这些器物静静铺陈在桌面与空间四角，如同星点般散落，彼此间虽不喧哗，却在视觉与触觉中构建出一种有温度的秩序感。它们不单是展示品，更是品牌所倡导的“自然美学”在日常生活中的延伸，让设计在无声中与人的呼吸、节奏、情绪产生连接。
Upon entering the showroom, guests are greeted by a lush, organically arranged floral installation—branches and blooms unfolding freely, forming a vivid composition of texture and movement. Seasonal plants such as sanguisorba, hydrangea, shrimp flowers, and millet hang and intertwine, bringing the grounded breath of nature indoors. Supporting these florals are R Arterra’s own vessels: handcrafted ceramic bowls, woven coasters, scented candles, glass water bottles, and artisan-made trays. These objects quietly anchor the space, scattered like starlight across the table and corners—modest in presence, yet together they create a tactile, harmonious rhythm. They are not merely displays, but living extensions of R Arterra’s philosophy of natural aesthetics, forming subtle connections with one’s breath, pace, and emotion in the flow of daily life.
此次活动由R Arterra品牌主理人Samme先生与销售总监方芳女士共同主持。两位主讲人不仅分享了品牌在材料探索、空间营造与可持续实践中的思考，也特别强调设计如何在日常生活中创造情感联结。Samme先生以其长期对自然材料的观察为引，探讨当代设计中“回归真实”与“顺应自然”的必要性。他指出：“当代设计不再只是形式，而是回应时代情绪的一种方式。”方芳女士则从品牌策展与客户体验的角度，分享了她在一线市场中所观察到的用户需求变化，鼓励更多年轻设计师将生活感知融入作品表达，寻找属于自己的语境与节奏。
The event was co-hosted by Samme, brand director of R Arterra, and Fang Fang, the sales director. Together, they offered insights into the brand’s material explorations, spatial strategies, and sustainable design practices, while emphasizing how design fosters emotional connections in daily life. Drawing from years of working with natural materials, Samme spoke about the importance of authenticity and alignment with nature in contemporary design, remarking that “design today is no longer just about form—it is a response to the emotional climate of our time.” Fang Fang, sharing from a curatorial and market-facing perspective, discussed shifting user needs and encouraged young designers to translate lived experiences into their own language and rhythm of design.
活动中段的茶歇为沙龙注入了更多亲密与放松的温度。R Arterra团队特别准备了手工果挞、起司、香草饼干与多款风味饮品，搭配陶器与木盘，让“味觉”成为设计语言的一部分。嘉宾们或围坐交谈，或驻足欣赏展厅中的物件，人与人、人与物、人与自然的连接在不经意间被拉近。
A relaxed interlude in the form of a tea break brought added warmth to the event. R Arterra curated a thoughtful selection of handmade fruit tarts, cheeses, vanilla biscuits, and seasonal drinks, all served on ceramic and wooden wares that extended the language of design to the realm of taste. Guests chatted in cozy circles or wandered through the showroom, drawing closer to one another—and to the objects and natural elements surrounding them.
