The luxury passenger and cargo liner "GUN SANPEARL" sailed to Gun San South Korea from Shidao China in the morning on June 24, 2019. This marks that the "GUN SAN PEARL" has been officially put into operation. She improves shipping capacity between China and South Korea.
With the development of shipbuilding industry and increasing of international ship routes, people not only recognized the means of sea travel, but also asked higher requirements for ship safety and comfort. Because of this, SHI DAO GROUP spent 380 million yuan to build "GUN SAN PEARL" RoPax after the construction of "HUADONG PEARL 8" and "XIN SHIDAO PEARL". The ship is 169.9 meters long, 26.2 meters wide, has 1680 meters lane and can carry 356 standard containers, 1,200 passengers. It is the sister ship of "XIN SHIDAO PEARL" which has been put into service last year, and it is the third large luxury RoPax on Shi Dao-SouthKorea route.
"GUN SAN PEARL" adopts a new design concept and international building standards. In order to improve the safety and comfort, HUANG HAI SHIPYARD furthers to optimize the design of the first two large luxury RoPax and continues to install JQA-10 type highly efficient fin stabilizer which provided by SHANGHAI HUNTER MARINE EQUIPMENT CO., LTD.
