Recently, Shenda Hao, China's new-generation deepwater pipelaying vessel, was officially commissioned into service with the Shanghai Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China. Shenda Hao has an overall length (LOA) of 177.1 meters and a full-load displacement of 40,000 tons, making it a new-type deep diving support vessel independently designed and built in China.
