HUNTER MARINE Empowers Arctic Scientific Research
Recently, the 15th Chinese Arctic Ocean Scientific Expedition, jointly organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has been successfully completed. This expedition was jointly conducted by four vessels: "Xuelong 2", "Jidi", "Deep Sea 1" and "Exploration 3", marking China's largest Arctic Ocean scientific expedition to date. All four ships are equipped with independently developed ship stabilizers devices by HUNTER MARINE, which have become powerful tools to withstand strong winds and huge waves.

It is understood that during the mission, the joint fleet withstood the test of extreme cold weather in the Arctic region. When encountering severe sea conditions during the voyage, the stabilizers immediately exerted attitude control effects after being activated, effectively suppressing hull rolling. According to actual measurements, the hull maintained a slight rolling state for most of the time. This performance not only built a solid safety barrier for precision instruments such as manned submersibles and underwater archaeological detection equipment on board, avoiding the impact of severe shaking on equipment accuracy and service life, but also significantly reduced the operational fatigue of crew members under extreme sea conditions, removing key obstacles for navigation safety and the smooth conduct of scientific research tasks.
In recent years, HUNTER MARINE has equipped scientific research vessels of various fields and types with advanced and reliable stabilizers, including Xuelong 2 of the Polar Research Institute, Deep Sea 1 of the National Deep Sea Base Administration,Dongfanghong 3 of Ocean University of China, Xiangyanghong 10 (an oceanographic research vessel), and Exploration 3 — China's first deep-sea multi-functional scientific research and underwater archaeological vessel. These devices support the high-quality development of China's marine scientific research cause and contribute their own strength to the country's marine scientific exploration endeavors.
Shanghai Hunter Marine Equipment Co., Ltd. is a professional enterprise specializing in the development and production of marine equipment and oceanographic equipment, and is also the only comprehensive service provider of marine anti-rolling devices in China integrating independent design, manufacturing and service. The fin stabilizer of 'Hunter Marine' brand is listed in the ‘Directories of Selected Maritime Equipment Brands in China ’.
