Founded in 2001 by Raul Bobet, legend winemaker in Spain and co-founder of Ferrer Bobet Winery at Priorat, Castell d'Encus located in Catalan Pyrenees at more than 1,000 meters above sea level. Its vineyards enjoy a cool climate at such high altitude.

安卡城堡庄园成立于2001年，由西班牙传奇酿酒师Raul Bobet创建，同时他也是Priorat产区著名Ferrer Bobet酒庄的合作创始人兼酿酒师。酒庄坐落在海拔1000多米的比利牛斯山上，这里的葡萄园能够享受到非常凉爽的气候

Because of its medieval aspect, the farm has a large number of fermenting vats carved in the stone that work by gravity. After passing a few initial tests they are being reused for fermentation of an important part of our both white and red wines.

酒庄是中世纪遗留下来的一座修道院遗址，周围保留着大量的天然石窟，在12世纪时，修道院的修士就在这些石窟里进行发酵。在经过一系列尝试和探索后，Raul也重新启用了这些石窟，来进行红、白葡萄酒的发酵。
