The Ying & Yang of Wine dinners at Cuivre where Chef Michael Wendling will pair the textural Rieslings crafted by the Iconic Wine Master Oliver Haag (3 wines Rated with 100 Parker on 2017) and the Powerful yet fresh and mineral infused wines of Domaine Lafage, arguably one of the Top Class producers of South of France.  

本月我们将在Cuivre餐厅为大家呈现一场“阴阳”晚宴,为了与大厨Michael Wendling亲自掌勺的美味搭配,我们选取了两家风格迥异但相得益彰的酒庄的酒。第一家是来自德国的雷司令名庄:Fritz Haag酒庄,在酿酒师Oliver Haag的精心打理下,酒庄2017年份有三款酒获得了罗伯特·帕克满分100分!另一家酒庄是来自南法的Lafage酒庄,酒庄风格雄厚,富有矿物气息,但又不失清新感,是南法首屈一指的代表性酒庄。

CUIVRE



Quality and warm welcoming service can be instantly felt once diners enter Cuivre by Chef Michael Wendling. From the contemporary design, combining copper and wood in the furnishing and decor, down to the tiniest details in ingredients used, cooking method, and food presentation.  The long sofa, mirrors the bar counter and the lounge area. The main dining area was created to offer an open and airy space for diners to savor the dishes and to fully enjoy a meal in peace and harmony. 

位于上海原法租界的CUIVRE算是法国主厨Michael Wendling的心血之作,取名“Cuivre”,法语中“铜”的意思,据说从前法国人都习惯使用铜制厨具,一做饭就忙得叮当作响,所以铜这种材料承载着Michael对童年菜肴的深刻记忆。餐厅内大量采用了铜皮装饰在灯罩或是墙面上,而桌椅和地板则大量使用木头和皮革特意做旧。而且就餐区的中央从地面一直铺到屋顶的废旧木条都是从上海的拆迁房中回收而来,再次释放生命力。总体在灯光映衬下弥漫的暖黄光晕,浪漫情怀自动溢出。
