On 10th of August, 15000DWT-4# DF chemical tanker was given steel cutting in AVIC Dingheng Shipyard.
The ship owner Terntank from Sweden has ordered four 15000DWT DF chemical tankers from AVIC Dingheng, which will be delivered in 2016. The series of 15000DWT# DF chemical tankers were equipped with the first two-stroke DF M/E in the world. This application would be the mainstream of marine propulsion in the future.
8月10日，由中航船舶代理、中航鼎衡船厂为瑞典船东Terntank建造的15000吨双燃料化学品船#4号船开工。
目前，15000吨双燃料化学品船项目共计4条船，预计将于2016年相继交付船东运营。该船型采用世界首制两冲程双燃料主机，是未来船舶推进应用发展的主流方向。
