[2020 Jun 14] World Blood Donor Day

June 14 was World Blood Donor Day and despite the COVID-19 epidemic, we celebrated by giving.

Bloodliners and friends gathered at Hongqiao Arts Center to celebrate life!

Thought it was a hot day, donors presented in numbers to make the magic happen... again!

A live TV show was aired during the actual process. 

Bloodline also presented Shanghai with a Heart of Love that we had collected over the COVID-19 period from 2020 Feb 17 to 2020 Apr 30. During this very precarious time, Bloodliners had ventured out to the streets and 

ultimately to several blood collection sites to show their love for Shanghai by donating blood. Everytime a Bloodliner donated, he/ she got a hexagon spot of the map and these joined together formed a heart. This heart became our gift to Shanghai... with a token of love in every drop.

...and the evening was a lighted up Shanghai with RED, the color of love.
