The Naming Ceremony of the 37000DWT Asphalt Tanker undertook by AVIC SHIP and built by AVIC Dingheng for American ship owner Sargeant was carried out on 2rd December.
Representatives from Sargeant Marine, BV classification society, Chronos Shipping, Vitol Singapore, COSCO Southern Asphalt Shipping Co., Fujian Xinyuan Investment, Sinosure Jiangsu Branch, Export-import Bank Shanghai Branch, Jiangdu Economic Development Zone, AVIC Leasing, AVIC International Hongkong and AVIC Lutong attended the Naming Ceremony.
Mrs. Chen Hong, who is the vice president and party committee member of Sinosure Jiangsu branch acted as the Godmother .
37000DWT asphalt tanker is the biggest asphalt tanker inthe world and has significant meaning to AVIC Dingheng Shipyard because it starts the shipyards’ construction of asphalt tanker.
