Job Opening: Associate Editor
English-language China news site Sixth Tone is looking for an Associate Editor to join its news team.
Based in Shanghai, the editor will be writing and editing news stories to tight deadlines on a wide range of topics, as well as supporting visual and social media staff with their translation and editing needs.
The ideal candidate enjoys keeping up with the news, will have some writing and/or journalist experience, native-level English writing skills, as well as a strong command of written and spoken Chinese.
Candidates already based in China are encouraged to apply.
The Associate Editor will work with an ambitious team of writers, editors, and visual journalists, and have the opportunity to shape Sixth Tone’s reporting in a variety of ways.
