Hello everyone,

Growing up, I was always wearing some interesting clothing, usually made by my mom. She and I have a close bond = she’s one of my best friends.

We always are talking about and thinking about how to make things more beautiful - whether it’s creating a new piece of clothing (she creates too!), gardening, or talking about the latest exhibit. Ever since I was young, she took me to museums where I spent time sketching out my interpretations of famous artwork.

One of her favorite pastimes, when I was growing up, was making clothing for me. We still have a library of her work - knit sweaters with apple trees, dresses with matching clothing for my dolls, etc.

I thought it would be fun to pay a homage to her by making a next iteration with baby dresses.
