Exploring New York City 探索纽约: The MET 大都会艺术博物馆

I have always been a lover of the arts, when my parents took me to museums all throughout growing up. I would spend many hours sketching pieces of artwork I loved. The novel "From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler" by E. L. Konigsburg was a great read (that has received numerous awards) and helped me understand the different wings of the museum. 

我一直都非常喜爱艺术，这可能跟我父母从小就一直带我去博物馆有关。我可以花上数个小时，就只是临摹我喜欢的艺术作品。E. L. Konigsburg 获奖无数的著作《From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler》帮助我了解更多有关于博物馆的知识。

My very first internship when I was in college at New York University was at the Development Department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and it was amazing to find that the offices were indeed hidden around different corners as I had read in the book. 

我还在纽约大学上学时的第一份实习工作就是在大都会艺术博物馆的发展部门。就像书中所介绍的那样，你会很惊喜地发现博物馆办公室就藏在各个角落的地方。
