Common Reader的名字来自于弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫的同名书籍。Atelier Tao+C和书店老板希望创造一个不只是存储和销售书籍的空间，而是邀请顾客来学习和社交。
The name of Common Reader comes from Virginia Woolf's book of the same name. Atelier tao+c and bookstore owners hope to create a space that not only stores and sells books, but also invites customers to learn and socialize.
为了满足Common Reader在具备一家普通书店的静逸，又能兼顾到社交的的功能性，设计师在选择石材上就要使得环境令人既有空间感又有自由轻松感。而岩苔绿弱化了空间的边界，围合出一个内向的公共大厅，开敞通透。
In order to meet the Common Reader's leisure in an ordinary bookstore and take into account the social function, the designer should make the environment both spatial and free when choosing stones. infinity lava weakens the boundary of the space and encloses an inward public hall, which is open and transparent.
L形的场地被分成两个房间，深色的木质书柜排列在墙上，展示桌占据了房间的中心。为了配合大量的木质装修以及绿色的线条搭配，设计师选择了岩苔绿作为需要大量使用的地面石材，既不会过于明艳使人有过重的视觉负担，又能与其他材质想辅给人营造出一种轻松自在的读书氛围。
The L-shaped venue is divided into two rooms. Dark wooden bookcases are arranged on the wall, and the display table occupies the center of the room. In order to cooperate with a large number of wood decoration and green line matching, the designer chose infinity lava as the ground stone that needs to be used a lot, which will not be too bright and colorful, making people have an excessive visual burden, but also with other materials to create a relaxed and comfortable reading atmosphere.
Common Reader为提供传统阅读体验，希冀以此回归书店的本质和初心，成为“心灵休憩之所”。岩苔绿大理石以其自然的色调和纹理，与这份初心不谋而合，让人在踏入书店时便感受到了从脚下传来的自然，从而使读者放下尘世与喧嚣带来的浮躁，静静的享受此刻心理的休憩。
In order to provide traditional reading experience, Common Reader hopes to return to the essence and original intention of the bookstore and become a "place for the mind to rest". With its natural tone and texture, infinity lava marble coincides with this original intention, which makes people feel the nature coming from their feet when they step into the bookstore, so that readers can put down the impetuousness brought by the world and noise, and quietly enjoy the psychological rest at the moment.
书店的内部设计为提供了静默的体验，让读者重拾专注力，整个空间除了木色与绿色相配合，没有别的过于繁重的要素。镶以明亮的绿色边缘的木板与岩苔绿大理石相辅相成，融于一体。唤起老图书馆的记忆，创造出一个鼓励读者逗留其中、坐下来阅读和写作的氛围。
The interior design of the bookstore provides a quiet experience for readers to regain their focus. The whole space has no heavy elements except the combination of wood color and green. The wooden board inlaid with bright green edges and the rock moss green marble complement each other and blend into one. Evoke the memory of the old library and create an atmosphere that encourages readers to stay, sit down and read and write.
岩苔绿大理石连接向更深处，在一个四面围合的洞口，作为单人书桌的功能，是一个相对封闭的阅览空间，读者可以在这里安静地看书喝咖啡，营造出一种公共空间里的安全感。
Infinity lava marble is connected to the deeper. In a surrounded hole, as the function of a single desk, it is a relatively closed reading space, where readers can quietly read and drink coffee, creating a sense of security in the public space.

绿色是植物的颜色，在中国文化中还有生命的含义，代表着自然、生态。
Green is the color of plants. It also has the meaning of life in Chinese culture and represents nature and ecology.
岩苔绿大理石以其浅绿色的基调，上面覆着点点自然的纹理，像极了大自然在脚下蔓延生长，让人心旷神怡。使人在此环境中不自觉的静下心来，不再浮躁，善于倾听。这也满足了Common Reader另一功能性——使读者敞开心扉沟通交流。
Infinity lava with its light green tone, covered with a little bit of natural texture, very much like the spread and growth of nature , which makes people relaxed and happy. Make people unconsciously calm down in this environment, no longer impetuous, good at listening. This also satisfies another function of Common Reader - to make readers open their hearts to communicate.
