Taiyuan, Shanxi to isssue subcidies for new energy projects
Taiyuan issued measures to attract investment to the area, covering a large number of industries and projects.
The list includes renewable energy and promotes the utilization of solar energy, wind energy, biomass energy, hydro energy, geothermal energy and new energy storage to build a new energy structure with new energy as the main body.
The government plans to issue subsidies for new energy projects, and the funds will be included in the budget by the Municipal Finance Bureau to support the development of the new energy industry.

Liaoning wind and solar capacity to exceed 37GW within the 14th Five period
The Development and Reform Commission of Liaoning Province issued the "14th Five-Year Plan" for energy development in Liaoning Province, engaging to plan and utilize offshore wind energy resources scientifically and rationally, and speed up the construction of onshore wind power.
The plan lists detailed principles, challenges and objectives for energy development in the province, including a target to achieve at least 37GW of installed wind and solar power by the end of 2025, compared to roughly 14GW at the end of the 13th FYP.

Hainan's Provincial Development and Reform Commission no longer approves new energy on-grid tariff one by one
Notice of Hainan Provincial Development and Reform Commission on Further Simplifying the Management of On-grid tariff for Renewable Energy Power Generation Projects.
In order to further promote the reform of “delegating power, and improving services” in the field of pricing, for onshore wind, solar, biomass and other renewable energy power generation projects for which the National Development and Reform Commission has established a benchmark on-grid electricity price, grid companies shall pay the on-grid electricity fee in accordance with relevant national regulations.
The Provincial Development and Reform Commission no longer approves the subsidy funds one by one.

Tianjin completes the first green electricity transaction in the city
The first green electricity transaction in Tianjin was completed, with an amount of 7.16 MWh. The green power transaction was organized and implemented by Tianjin Electricity Exchange Center and Beijing Electricity Exchange Center.
A total of 7 household electrical appliance enterprises and 4 electricity sales companies in Tianjin participated in the green electricity transaction, and the green electricity products were provided by 2 Tianjin new energy power generation enterprises.
The person in charge of a foreign-funded enterprise involved in this transaction said, "The company's purchase of green electricity has improved the international competitiveness of our products; we will continue to pay attention to relevant transaction information in the future."

Article on distributed green energy trading in China from Azure Research and Strategy team published in ECECP’s Magazine
Sharon Feng, the director of research and advisory service Azure international, contributed an article to June issue of EU China energy Magazine sponsored by ECECP (EU China energy cooperation platform, who’s objective is to enhance EU-China cooperation on energy).
In this article, Ms. Feng briefly analyzed whether distributed renewable energy could pave the way for green electricity trading in China by introducing the current situation, obstacles and the participation thinking of distributed green energy in China's power trading.
