On OFC2024, the world's leading optical module manufacturer, HG Genuine, has officially launched the 800G LPO high-speed silicon optical module solution.

Introduced a 8Chx106Gbps PAM4 format linear pluggable optical module(LPO) with less than 7 watt of power consumption in LiveDemo

实现每比特率功耗小于8.5 [pJ/bit]的目标

The target of 8.5 [pJ/bit] was implemented

已成功实现了模块级低功耗解决方案,此产品适用于800G AI以太网、AI集群、传统以太网等系统应用。

This product will be appropriate for 800G-based AI-ethernet, AI Cluster, and traditional ethernet systems as market and customer need.

"Professor Jon Bowers (who is founder and the pioneer of Silicon Photonics (SiPh) technology), Dr. Jose Pozo (who is director of technology and innovation at EPIC), Tier-1 customers and partners visited the booth of 800G LPO-SiPh product. They are feeling encouraged for the performance of product based on both technologies of SiPh and quantum-dot lasers, and express their highly recognition.


The excellent performance will open another possible path of low power consumption because it satisfy the 20% lower requirement in power consumption for each iteration of pluggable optical module. Stated by DR. Yang
