Passengers taking the Tianjin Metro (including Binhai New Area Line Z4) can directly tap their international UnionPay cards (debit or credit) on the sensor area at the turnstiles for instant access, enjoying a smooth and efficient metro ride.
温馨提示：“境外发行的银联卡”是指由中国大陆以外的国家和地区的银行或金融机构所发行的银联卡。卡号通常以“62”开头，卡面带有银联标识。
Tip: "Overseas UnionPay cards" refer to UnionPay cards issued by banks or financial institutions in countries and regions outside Chinese Mainland. The card number usually starts with "62" and the card bears the UnionPay logo.

Ticket Purchase and Recharge
包括国家会展中心站、“三站一场”在内共70座重点车站配有外卡专用POS设备，乘客可以使用Visa（维萨）、MasterCard（万事达）、AE（美国运通）、JCB（吉士美）、Diners Club/Discover（大来/发现卡）及中国银联等卡组织发行的银行卡购票、充值，搭配微信、支付宝、现金等常用支付方式，彻底解决外籍游客出行支付难题，实现畅通无忧的地铁出行。
Dedicated POS terminals accepting foreign cards are available at 70 key stations, including the National Convention and Exhibition Center Station and transit hubs in train stations, high-speed railway stations, major bus terminals and airports across the city. Passengers can use bank cards bearing the logos of Visa, MasterCard, American Express (AE), JCB, Diners Club/Discover, and China UnionPay to purchase tickets or top up transit cards. Together with other popular payment methods such as WeChat Pay, Alipay, and cash, this removes payment barriers for overseas visitors.

Meanwhile, Tianjin Metro APP allows you to directly use the QR code to take rail transit in 16 cities nationwide, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu, making cross-city travel effortless. Electronic Day Pass
为方便乘客短期来津出行，天津地铁APP中有“电子日票”可供选择，购买后在“支付管理”中将支付方式修改为“电子日票”，在有效期内不限乘车次数，省去反复购票的麻烦。
To facilitate passengers' short-term travel in Tianjin, the "Electronic Day Pass" is available in the Tianjin Metro APP. After purchase, change the payment method to "Electronic Day Pass" in "Payment Management". You can ride unlimited times within the valid period, freeing yourself from the hassle of repeated ticket purchases.
