  Fujian Cuisine  

Fujian cuisine is famous for its mountain delicacies. It uses a wide range of ingredients. Its style is characterized by freshness, harmony, meat flavor and non-greasy taste.


According to its style, white wine and rose wine are the great choices. White wine is almost tannin-free, light-bodied and does not conflict with the elegant taste of the dishes. Generally speaking, white wine has a prominent floral aroma, which complements the elegant aroma of the dishes. Finally, most white wines have a high acidity that helps remove the fishiness and bring out the freshness.

  Jiangsu Cuisine  

Jiangsu cuisine is one of the lesser known of the Eight Great Cuisines of China among foreigners. Jiangsu is the land of fish and rice, It is rich in natural products and food resources, characterized by abundant seafood. Jiangsu Province has the highest per capita income. Probably for this reason, the food is more gourmet style. It is very refined and presented colourfully and artistically.

Why we recommand:


Jiangsu dishes are most suitable for pairing with refreshing semi-dry/dry white wines.


Why we recommend this pairing: most seafood is matched with white wine. The high acidity in white wine can remove the fishy taste in seafood. The original dishes are matched with refreshing wine, highlighting the faint scent of dishes.

  Sichuan Cuisine  

Sichuan province is the birthplace of many dishes that are well-received globally. Sichuan food, originated from the Southwestern region of China, is the most widely served cuisine in China itself.


Perfect Wine Pairing:

Weisswein

Why we recommand:


Sichuan cuisine is mainly spicy and hot. The spicy flavor will destroy the fruity flavor of wine to some extent, therefore try to choose wines with strong fruity flavor.  Better to pair with sweet or semi-dry wines to drive away spicy flavour, and make your dishes much more fragrant.


A simplified guide is offered here -- the more chilies, the lighter or sweeter the wine should be.  Heavy red wines simply won't work with spicy food

  Zhejiang Cuisine    

Zhejiang cuisine is mini and delicate, delicious and fresh, crisp and soft. Its main characteristics are careful selection of materials, unique cooking, emphasis on the original taste, fine production. As for flavor, mainly are salty and sweet, sweet and sour.

Masitino Rosso

Why we recommand:


Due to its salty sweet and sweet and sour flavors, so medium-bodied semi-dry or sweet red wine is a great choice.  As for the wine body and aroma, we suggest medium to full.  Light bodied wines would be completely covered by food.
