Thousands of convenience stores and small businesses around China are Convenient Pickup spots. If you live in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Dongguan, Hefei, Ningbo or Jiaxing, then it’s very likely that your local convenient store is a drop off point. Convenient Pickup is like having your own warehouse.
If you’ve selected Convenient Pickup then you will not have to deal with any delivery people. Just wait for an SMS, head down to your local shop, show them the text message, and pick up your items!
Note: You will have 5 days to pick up your items after they have been delivered to your drop off point. After 5 days you will be charged anywhere between CNY0.5–2.0 a day. If the product you ordered is perishable, of high value, or of a very large size, then Convenient Pickup may not be viable. In this event, you will be notified via email and your items will automatically be shipped to you Taobao Direct.
HOW IT WORKS
Once you have selected convenient pickup as your delivery option, our processing team will locate the nearest available shop equipped to receive your packages and send you an email detailing the location of your pickup spot.
In the event that there is no pickup location within 1km of your given address, you will be notified via email and your items will automatically be shipped to you via taobao direct.
Please allow up to 24 hours to receive your pickup location email. If you haven’t received your email within 24 hours, please contact us by emailing support@baopals.com or message us on WeChat for live support. (Note: Check your spam box and add us to contacts if we’re in there.)
After you have received your pickup location via email, you can sit back, relax, and track your order.
When your package has arrived at your pickup location, you will be notified via SMS. The SMS message is sent by the Chinese logistics giant, CaiNiu, not by Baopals. As a result, the message will be in Chinese not English. Be on the lookout for an SMS message like the one below.

Show this SMS to the employee at the store and collect your items. Easy as pie.

I accidentally deleted my SMS pickup code.
Don’t worry. Contact us via WeChat or email us at support@baopals.com. We will have your pickup code resent to you or communicate with the shop keep directly so you can retrieve your packages.
I checked my tracking and the package is marked as delivered, but I haven’t received my SMS!
Don’t panic yet. Your package will be marked as delivered once it has been dropped off at the store. However, the SMS message is sent once the shop keep has entered the info in their system. As a result, there is often a lag of a couple of hours before you receive your SMS.
