Here are some commonly asked questions and updates regarding the current situation, and what it means for Baopals shoppers. We've also compiled a list of sellers shipping normally at this time and it will be updated continuously on the Baopals blog.

Q. When will things return to normal?

A. Unfortunately this is a difficult question to answer, as some cities have experienced further closures and restrictions in recent days. Meanwhile, we're seeing various sellers return to business and start shipping out orders. We don't expect things to last this way for much longer, but there are no guarantees. Nonetheless, the Baopals team is still here and monitoring orders every day of the week. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Q. Where are the orders I placed before CNY?

A. Some sellers have now shipped out orders placed before CNY. However, there are still many smaller local sellers that are struggling to find delivery companies to help ship orders, especially if they are located in a more remote city or a city that is under heavy lockdown. It is their highest priority to resume shipping as soon as possible, and they are doing all they can given the circumstances.

Q. What sellers are shipping right now?

A. There are still many sellers that are shipping normally at this time, with minimal delays. If you have any questions about a specific product, you can feel free to message us and we will check with the seller. If you don't mind waiting, you can also place an order and it will be shipped as soon as possible.

In addition, please note that many compounds no longer allow the entry of package couriers. As a result, your package may not be delivered to your doorstop or normal package drop-off location. We kindly ask that you familiarize yourself with your compound rules on accepting packages during this time.

Q. Where can I buy masks?

A. There is a nationwide shortage of masks right now. Many masks listed as available on Taobao/Tmall (and thus Baopals) are out of stock - if you happen to purchase an out of stock item, our team will of course refund you promptly. We're also monitoring for masks that become available, and will feature them in the Daily Deals section at the top of our homepage, so be sure to keep an eye out. In the meantime, you can contact your local authorities or apartment complex to find out if there are any resources available to you to help you get masks.
