As of November 21st, the convenient pickup delivery option has been removed from Baopals. We would like to instead direct you over to the use of direct shipping, the delivery option we have found works best for our customers.
Convenient pickup hasn't been optimized for the majority of cities in China, leading to a number of complications. We want our customers to have the best experience possible, and direct shipping is able to provide a more consistent and transparent service. Nearly all apartment compounds have delivery solutions in place, such as pickup lockers or designated package rooms.
So you can still rest easy knowing that your packages will be waiting safely for you whenever you get home. You can also easily track your package to see the approximate time it arrived at the address you provided!
Try direct delivery and you'll quickly learn how delivery people handle deliveries to your compound or apartment building. Delivery companies tend to use the same delivery person for specific compounds, so there will be consistency in deliveries to your address.
If you're not home, you'll be able to see if packages are left with building management, inside a pickup locker or at your door. If they are unable to find a suitable place to leave the package, the company may contact you to arrange another time to deliver.
