Lowered Terror Threat in Brussels
As reported in a recent CWT HotNews, the federal authorities have decided to lower the security alert level for the Brussels area from 4 to 3.
Situation at Brussels Airport
At Brussels Airport level 3 is maintained. Police and security services are on heightened alert but the airport is fully operational and flights are not impacted. The passenger drop-off area in front of the terminal remains accessible but parking in this area is strictly forbidden as before.
Situation on Railway Network
All services are running normally, passengers will have flexible access to Eurostar trains and Thalys trains when metro and pre-metro stations are closed.
Passengers will also have flexible access to TGV trains and ICE trains/busses when metro and pre-metro stations are closed and if they have a stamp from the station on their train tickets.
