Lufthansa Cabin Crew Threat to Strike after November 1
As reported in recent CWT Alert, unionized Lufthansa (LH) flight attendants have threatened to strike after November 1 over employment conditions. The Independent Flight Attendant (UFO) union, which represents around 13,000 cabin crew, has not yet specified the exact start date and time of the action. Unions representing Lufthansa often give less than 72 hours' notice ahead of threatened strikes, limiting the airline's ability to make alternate arrangements and minimize disruptions.
Should the strike proceed, expect severe delays and widespread cancellations on Lufthansa, Lufthansa Cargo, and Germanwings (4U) routes. We will inform you as soon as there is any further information.
