本月上旬，来自CWT香港公司的志愿者参与了当地非营利组织Urban Peacemaker（城市睦福）在香港葵涌地区举办的便民嘉年华活动，传播了社区互助精神。作为社会发展项目，该活动旨在帮助当地居住在天台屋、板间房、中转屋及收容中心的贫困家庭。
衷心感谢每一位参与本次活动的志愿者，嘉信力旅运正对我们工作和生活的社区产生有意义的影响。
CWT Hong Kong team participate in the Carnival in the communicty in Hong Kong
Volunteers from CWT Hong Kong got in to the community spirit earlier this month partnering with non-profit organization, The Urban Peacemaker, to host a carnival for residents in Kwai Chung, as part of a social development project.
Deputy General Manager for CWT Hong Kong, Willie Hui, and a team of volunteers including Jessie Fung, Janice Mak, Natalie Leung, Ben Au, Elvis Tsui and Rainbow set up a ring toss booth at the fair, inviting kids and their families to try their hand at the game for the chance to win a prize.
The Urban Peacemaker aims to serve the growing population of underprivileged families living in rooftop slums, subdivided units, interim housing and transit centres. The annual event is free for the public to attend, and a meaningful way of bringing a bit of festive spirit to the community. Willie Hui was presented with a trophy by the organizers in recognition of CWT's efforts to support the project.
Appreciate to each volunteers from CWT Hong Kong, CWT is making a meaningful difference in the communities where our people live and work.
