Enhanced security in France, UK, Netherland, Germany and Italy
As reported in a recent CWT Alert, authorities of France, UK, Netherland, Germany and Italy are boosting security across the nations on March 22 in the wake of the suspected terrorist attacks in Brussels, Belgium.
The heightened security will likely lead to processing delays at major airports, including Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Paris Orly (ORY), Lyon (LYS), Nice (NCE), Marseille (MRS), Gatwick (LGW), Heathrow (LHR), Schiphol (AMS), Eindhoven (EIN), Rotterdam (RTM), Frankfurt (FRA), Cologne (CGN), Berlin Tegel (TXL), Munich (MUC), Dusseldorf (DUS), Hamburg (HAM), Stuttgart (STR), Rome Fiumicino (FCO), Rome Ciampino (CIA), Milan Malpensa (MXP), Naples International (NAP), Florence Peretola (FLR), and Venice Marco Polo (VCE). Similar security precautions will be taken at major rail, metro, and bus stations, as well as international rail lines.
