美国“签证更新电子系统EVUS”信息更新
据美国海关和边境保护局 消息，11月29日起所有持有中华人民共和国护照并同时持有10年期美国签证的中国旅客必须在“签证更新电子系统（EVUS）”完成登记后才能赴美旅行。11月29日之前旅客仍可正常前往美国，不受EVUS要求影响。
EVUS是一个在线系统，供持有10年期B1/B2、B1或B2（访问者）签证的中华人民共和国公民更新个人基本信息，以便前往美国旅行。系统登记费用为8美元，一次登记的有效期为两年。若旅客的签证或护照两者中任何一者过期，EVUS登记的信息即失效。
EVUS网站预计将于10月中旬开始接受公众注册，届时美国海关和边境保护局将发布正式公告。所有用于EVUS登记的费用必须通过信用卡、借记卡或PayPal支付。

关于申请赴美签证所使用的照片不得佩戴眼镜的规定
根据美国驻华大使馆 通知，自2016年11月1日起，所有持外国护照办理赴美签证的申请人，申请中提供的照片不得佩戴眼镜。除申请人出示医疗证明的特殊情况外，使馆不再接受申请人佩戴眼镜的签证照片。

中国国际航空调整美洲航线的免费托运行李额度
根据国航官网 发布的消息，为了更好的满足旅客出行需求，即日起至2017年12月31日购买中国与美国、加拿大航线经济舱机票的旅客，可免费托运2件行李，每件23KG。
中航嘉信建议旅客出行前联系航空公司确认行李额度以保障出行。
接美国航空 通知，即日起该航空公司位于北京首都国际机场的国际航班值机柜台关闭时间将调整为航班起飞前75分钟。

美国运输部宣布所有航班禁运三星Galaxy Note7手机
美国运输部 10月14日发布紧急声明，从东部时间2016年10月15日午时起，任何个人不得在往返美国或搭乘美国境内各航班时随身携带三星 Galaxy Note7手机，也不得在随身行李或托运行李中夹带该款手机。该禁令涉及所有三星Galaxy Note7设备，且不得作为空运货物运输。
若有旅客试图携带该款设备，他/她将被拒绝登机。在托运行李中试图夹带该款手机会增加灾难性事故发生的风险，因此违者除了面临罚款外，还可能遭受刑事起诉。

Additional details on the Electronic Visa Update System (EVUS)
As informed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), all People's Republic of China passport holders carrying a 10-year visa will be required to have a valid Electronic Visa Update System (EVUS) enrollment when traveling to the United States beginning on November 29. Until November 29, travelers may continue to travel to the United States without an EVUS enrollment.
EVUS is the online system used by nationals of the People's Republic of China holding a 10-year B1/B2, B1 or B2 (visitor) visa to update basic biographic information to facilitate their travel to the United States. The fee to enroll in the system is USD8 and enrollments are valid for two years or when the traveler's visa or passport expires, whichever comes first.
CBP will make the official announcement once the EVUS site is open for public enrollments, anticipated in mid-October. All payments for EVUS enrollments must be made by credit cards, debit cards or through PayPal.

No eyeglasses policy for U.S. visa photographs
As reported by Embassy of the United States in China, all foreign passport holders who apply for U.S. visas must remove their eyeglasses in application photo, effective 1 November 2016. The U.S. Embassy will no longer accept photographs of visa wearing eyeglasses, except in rare, medically-documented circumstances with a signed statement from a medical professional.

Air China adjusted baggage allowance on routes to America
As announced on Air China Website, travelers in economy class on the routes between China and United States/Canada carried by Air China will be permitted to check in two pieces of luggage for free, with each piece weighing 23 KG. The policy is applicable to tickets sold before 31 December 2017.

American Airlines adjusts its international check-in counter closing schedule at Beijing Airport
As informed by American Airlines, its international check-in counters at Beijing Capital International Airport will be closed 75 minutes before departure, effective immediately.

The U.S. Department of Transportation bans all Samsung Galaxy Note7 phones from airplanes
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) issued an emergency order on October 14. Individuals who own or possess a Samsung Galaxy Note7 device may not transport the device on their person, in carry-on baggage, or in checked baggage on flights to, from, or within the United States. This prohibition includes all Samsung Galaxy Note7 devices. The phones also cannot be shipped as air cargo, effective 15 October 2016, at noon ET.
If travelers attempt to travel by air with their Samsung Galaxy Note7 devices, they will be denied boarding. Travelers who attempt to evade the ban by packing their phone in checked luggage are increasing the risk of a catastrophic incident. Anyone violating the ban may be subject to criminal prosecution in addition to fines.
