Belgium air traffic disrupted as strike continues
As reported in a recent CWT Alert and CWT HotNews, members of the Belgian Guild of Air Traffic Controllers (BGATC) staged a wildcat strike at Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) on April 12 (local time). The airport is still disrupted on April 13(local time). A spokeswoman of Brussels Airport said some 50 flights had been canceled at the airport so far. The cancelled flights concern the following countries: France, the UK, Poland, Sweden, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Norway and Russia.
