Possible flight disruptions in south central U.S. during June 1-4
As reported in a recent CWT Alert, a slow-moving storm system is forecast to bring several rounds of heavy rain and severe thunderstorms to parts of the south central U.S. during June 1-4. Heavy rainfall, severe weather and flooding will likely lead to ground and air transport disruptions throughout the south central U.S. Severe thunderstorms could cause flight disruptions at area airports including those serving San Antonio (SAT), Austin (AUS), Houston (IAH, HOU), Dallas (DAL, DFW), and Little Rock (LIT).
CWT China reminds travelers who have plans to travel to/from the above areas recently, to pay close attention to the weather conditions, check flight status before departure and arrange travel accordingly.
