据中国东方航空 通知，由于科伦坡机场将于2017年1月6日至4月6日重修跑道，可能造成大量航班积压，因此该机场所有出港航班值机柜台关闭时间将调整为航班起飞前90分钟，旅客须提前5个小时抵达机场。
中航嘉信提醒有计划从科伦坡机场出发的旅客尽量提前到达机场，以免误机。
Important notice of Colombo Bandaranaike Airport runway resurfacing
As reported by China Eastern Airlines, Colombo Bandaranaike Airport may experience extensive flight backlog due to the construction of the airport runway during 6 January to 6 April 2017. Closing time for all check-in counters at the airport will be adjusted to 90 minutes before departure. Travelers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 5 hours prior to departure.
CWT China reminds travelers who have plans to travel from Colombo Airport, to arrive at the airport as early as possible to secure the trip.
