为了让国际旅客在中国的短期停留更加便捷，中国过境免签的政策已经在越来越多的城市实行。

目前共有18个城市执行该项政策，允许51个指定国家的过境旅客免签停留72/144小时。

申请条件

  旅客必须持有去往第三国或地区的确认了日期与座位的机票，并且持有该国家或地区的签证（如果该国家或地区要求签证的话）

  旅客必须在指定的转机机场出入境

  在免签停留期间,旅客可以访问指定的行政区域或城市，但不能离开该区域前往其他任何城市。

  停留时间仅限72或144小时。实际72或144小时的免签停留并非从乘客到达当天的0:00开始计算。因此允许停留的时间会比72/144小时稍长。

In order to accommodate more short stay visits from international travelers, China's TWOV Program is expanding to more and more cities. At present, 18 cities have adopted this policy which allows transit passengers with a passport from 51 countries to stay for up to either 72 or 144 hours without a visa on direct transit.

Conditions for application

  Passengers should hold an onward ticket with a confirmed seat and date as well as a valid visa to their next destination (if required).

  Passengers are required to enter and leave from the eligible transit ports only.

  During the layover period, they can travel within the designated administrative regions, but cannot venture to other cities.

  The layover time is limited to either 72 or 144 hours. However, the visa-free period starts at 00:00 of the day following the passenger's arrival, so in actual fact allowing a stay that is slightly longer than 72 or 144 hours.
