根据多个媒体报道，12月6日起西安至成都高速铁路将实现全线开通运营。这是我国首条穿越秦岭的高铁，也是首条实现4G信号全覆盖的山区高铁。
西成高铁开通初期，将安排动车组列车19对，成都至西安的最短旅行时间压缩至4小时7分。年底实施新的列车运行图后，两地间最短旅行时间将压缩至3小时27分，较原来两地间最短旅行时间压缩了7小时。
此外，根据上海铁路局 通知，因铁路运行图调整，2017年11月27日起暂停发售12月26日及以后的旅客列车车票（九龙车除外），恢复售票时间将另行通知。

High-Speed Railway from Xi'an to Chengdu will be officially open on December 6
As reported by various media, high-speed rail link from Xi'an to Chengdu will be officially open on December 6. The line will be the first one which goes through Qin Mountains and its trains will be first ones which go through mountain area and are fully covered by 4G network.
19 pairs of trains will be put into use at the beginning stage. The shortest travel time from Chengdu to Xi'an will be 4 hours and 7 minutes and it will be shortened again to 3 hours and 27 minutes at the end of this year that will be 7 hours faster than the previous duration.
As informed by Shanghai Railway Station, tickets for trains run after December 26 (included) will stop selling (except Jiulong trains) due to the adjustment of the train diagram from 27 November 2017. When the tickets will be resold will be announced by the bureau later.
