接汉莎航空 通知，从2017年7月19日起，飞抵美国的所有航班将采取更严格的安检措施。因此旅客在机场的等候时间将更长。目前，小型电子设备也必须接受安检，但仍可被带入客舱。
这一更严格的安检措施或将导致各流程延误。因此从法兰克福、慕尼黑和杜塞尔多夫机场起飞的所有汉莎航空洲际航班的值机截止时间将提前（通过网络或手机办理值机手续的旅客必须持有登机牌，并已经办理了行李托运手续），新的值机截止时间将从7月19日起生效：
头等舱和公务舱的旅客：须在距离航班起飞40分钟之前办理值机手续
优选经济舱和经济舱旅客：须在距离航班起飞前60分钟之前办理值机手续
从布鲁塞尔、科隆-波恩、日内瓦、维也纳和苏黎世机场起飞的洲际航班值机截止时间不变，欧洲境内航班的值机时间也未变更。此外，汉莎航空集团各枢纽的最短中转时间也维持不变。
长途航班的旅客应及时抵达机场。对于从苏黎世机场出发飞往美国的航班，瑞士国际航空建议应至少在距离航班起飞前3小时抵达机场。
中航嘉信建议有计划乘坐赴美航班的旅客关注此新政策，尽量提前到达机场并预留充足的时间办理值机手续，以保障出行。
Lufthansa: check-in schedule has been pulled ahead for Intercontinental flights
As informed by Lufthansa, all flights to the United States will adopt stricter security measure, effective 19 July 2017. So travelers will wait for a longer time at the airports. At the moment, small electronic devices have to get security check, though they could be taken into the passenger cabin.
The stricter security measure may cause delays over all processes. Thus, check-in schedule for all intercontinental flights by Lufthansa from Frankfurt, Munich, Duesseldorf airports will be pulled ahead (travelers who check-in online or through mobile phones have to get the boarding pass and have their luggage checked-in). The new check-in schedule has been valid from 19 July 2017.
Travelers by first or business class should check-in at least 40 minutes before departure
Travelers by economy or premium economy class should check-in at least 60 minutes before departure
Check-in schedule for intercontinental flights from Brussels, Cologne-Bonn, Geneva, Vienna and Zurich airports keep unchanged. Check-in schedule for flights within Europe also keep the same. In addition, the shortest transit time for all hubs in Lufthansa Group also keep unchanged.
Travelers with long-haul flights have to arrive the airports as early as possible. Swiss International Airlines suggests travelers flying from Zurich airport to the United States should arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before departure.
CWT China reminds travelers who have plans to take flights to the United States to pay attention to the new policy, arrive at the airports as early as possible and leave ample time to secure the trip.
