根据媒体报道，即日起申根国家机场将执行更为严格的过境边检措施。预计未来数周内，乘坐来往申根国家航班的旅客安检等候时间可能延长。由于在机场运营高峰时段，机场方缺少足够资源来进行安检，目前部分机场包括马德里阿道夫苏亚雷斯机场、巴黎奥利机场以及比利时布鲁塞尔机场的等候时间可能长达四小时。
中航嘉信提醒目前在申根国家或有计划前往申根国家的旅客尽量提前达到机场，为值机手续预留充足的时间，以保障顺利出行。

As reported by media, Schengen area airports heightened security checks, effective immediately. Travelers entering or exiting the Schengen area by air may wait for longer time in the coming weeks. The airport authorities lacked sufficient resources to undertake these checks during the peak time. Waiting periods of up to four hours have been reported at several airports, including Adolfo Suarez Madrid Barajas Airport, Paris Orly Airport, Milan Malpensa Airport and Brussels Airport.
