As reported by various sources, Hurricane Florence is forecast to landfall on the coastal areas around North Carolina-South Carolina this week. Governments in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Maryland have declared a state of emergency.
Transportation updates
Multiple airlines of U.S. have cancelled several flights to/from southeastern of U.S.; National Railroad Passenger Corporation of the USA (Amtrak) has suspended most service in the southeast region at this time. Charleston International Airport and Wilmington International Airport both issued temporarily close. Charleston Airport will reopen till 2359 on September 17 (local time). Wilmington Airport will reopen till 1000 on September 15 (local time).
Chinese Embassy in U.S. reminds Chinese citizens and travelers to pay close attention to the weather forecast and the weather warning information issued by the U.S. government and make prevention and avoid unnecessary travel and outdoor activities.
