国家发改委 和民航局 于2017年12月联合发布了《关于进一步推进民航国内航空旅客运输价格有关问题的通知》，决定扩大实行市场调节价的航线范围，在原来的基础上新增航线306条，其中包括了北京、上海、广州、深圳互飞在内的主要国内热门航线。目前，中国东方航空、中国南方航空、中国国际航空等多家航空公司已陆续上调了京沪航线上的经济舱价格，上涨幅度约为10%。
根据该通知，实行自主调节价格的原则如下：
- 5家以上（含5家）航空运输企业参与运营的国内航线
- 国内旅客运价实行市场调节价，由航空运输企业依法自主制定
- 每家航空运输企业每航季上调实行市场调节价的经济舱旅客无折扣公布运价的航线条数，原则上不得超过本企业上航季运营实行市场调节价航线总数的15%（不足10条航线的最多可以调整10条）
-每条航线每航季无折扣公布运价上调幅度累计不得超过10%

National Development and Innovation Committee and Civil Aviation Administration have jointly issued notice on further promotion of domestic air passenger transport prices of civil aviation on the December of 2017. The notice decided to extend the flight range of market-adjusted rates and add 306 new flights on the original foundation, including some hot major domestic routes such as routes between Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Now China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Air China and other airlines have risen the prices of economy class on Beijing-Shanghai routes successively. The prices have risen nearly by 10%.
The principle to implement the independent-adjusted rates is as below due to the notice:
- Domestic routes with above five (including) airlines operating
- Independent pricing by airlines itself according to law
- The amount with no-discount reference fare of economy class by each airlines each season that can be implemented market-adjusted rates should not exceed 15% of total routes amount by each airlines (If the amount is less than ten, it can be adjusted to ten)
- The price-rising of no-discount reference fare of each airlines each season cannot exceed 10%
