接中国国际航空 通知，即日起，美国交通安全管理局对赴美旅客携带的粉状物品将采取新运输要求。根据最新规定，重量大于12盎司（含）/容量大于350毫升（含）的粉状物质（如面粉、糖、咖啡粉、调味料和化妆品等）必须按照托运行李运输；通过机场安检检查的“医用粉状物质、婴儿配方奶和骨灰”不受限制，可作为非托运行李随身携带。对于通过安全检查的超规粉状物质，将被要求重回值机柜台办理行李托运手续，这将可能给旅客产生额外的费用。
中航嘉信提醒近期有计划前往美国的旅客提前了解行李要求，超规行李在办票时尽早托运，以免耽误行程。

Air China: new requirements of carrying powder for passengers going to the United States
As informed by Air China, U.S. Department of Homeland Transportation Security Administration has implemented new requirements of carrying powders, effective immediately. In accordance with the latest regulations, powder-like substances (such as flour, sugar, ground coffee, spices and cosmetics) over 12oz/350ml (including 12oz/350ml) shall be packed in checked baggage; but the “medically prescribed powder-like substances, baby formula and human remains” passing security screening are not restricted, and may be packed in carry-on baggage. Power substances which pass security screening but exceed the specifications are required to return to the check-in counter to drop them off. It may cause travelers’ additional expenses.
