美国航空 (American Airlines) 于2017年11月5日正式开通北京 - 洛杉矶每日直航航线，该航线是美国航空开通的中国至美国境内的六条直航航线之一，并成为首家执飞该航线的美籍航空公司。
2018年11月6日，美国航空在京为这条备受瞩目的中美市场重要航线举办了盛大的一周年庆典。包括中航嘉信（CWT China）在内的众多行业重量级嘉宾受邀出席了此次盛典，并在分享会环节畅谈了此中美航线战略布局为行业带来的深远意义。

CWT China Invited to American Airlines PEK-LAX One Year Anniversary
American Airlines launched new daily non-stop service from Los Angeles to Beijing on 5 November 2017. This is one of American's six direct nonstop flights from China to the U.S. American will be the first U.S. carrier to operate this route.
On 6 November 2018, American celebrated the one year anniversary of its PEK-LAX route in Beijing. A range of top industry heavyweights from across the sector including CWT China leaders were invited to the event and share their insights on what PEK-LAX route means for the industry during the panel discussion session.
