Since the start of this year, Chinese embassies and consulates in the U.S. have received reflects of several Chinese citizens visiting the U.S. that their personal electronic devices, such as mobile phones and computers were checked by the U.S. customs and border enforcement officers while entering the US. At the same time, some people entering U.S. were refused to enter or even prosecuted due to illegal stay information in their electronic devices while they were checked.
