什么是客票有效期？
客票自旅行开始之日起，一年内运输有效。如果客票全部未使用，则从填开客票之日起，一年内运输有效。
客票有效期如何来计算？
1. 普通票价的客票，无论是单程、来回程亦或是环程，有效期均为自实际出发日之日起，一年内有效；若客票未曾使用，则为填开客票之日起，一年内有效。例如2018年8月1日出票的客票，有效期至2019年7月31日凌晨24时前；
2. 特种票价的客票（折扣客票）有效期，适用航空公司公布的条件；
3. 对于日期变更过的客票（即进行过改期的客票），需以最原始第一张客票的出票日来计算。例如2018年8月1日出票的客票，出发日为2018年9月1日，但旅客于2018年8月15日进行了改期至2018年9月10日出发。而该票的有效期仍至2019年7月31日凌晨24时前。
以上计算方式一般针对国内机票；由于国际机票有效期的计算方式较为复杂，具体还需结合该国际机票的限制条件来判断。
对旅客而言有何意义？
当一位需经常出差的旅客预订了一张客票，却因某些原因暂时无法出行。在客票允许的使用条件下，旅客可以在有效期内变更出发日期再次出行；否则应及时办理退票，以免造成旅客的损失。

What is ticket validity?
A ticket is valid for carriage for one year from the date of commencement of travel, or if no portion of the ticket has been used, from the date the ticket was issued.
How to calculate ticket validity?
1. Tickets of normal price. No matter it is one way trip, round trip or circle trip, the ticket is valid for one year beginning from departure date. If the ticket is unused, the ticket is valid for one year beginning from issue date. E.g. the ticket was issued on 1 August 2018. It is valid until 2400 on 31 July 2019.
2. Special Tickets (discount tickets) are applicable to the conditions published by the airlines.
3. Tickets that have been changed for another day (rescheduled tickets). It have to be calculated on the date of issue of the original ticket. E.g. the ticket was issued on 1 August 2018. The departure date is 1 September 2018. On 15 August 2018, traveler rescheduled it to 10 September 2018 to depart. So the ticket is still valid until 2400 on 31 July 2019.
The above calculations are generally for domestic flights. The calculation for international air ticket validity is more complex. It is necessary to combine the restrictions on international air tickets to judge.
What is the meaning for travelers?
One traveler who often has a business trip booked a ticket. However, the trip was suspended for some reason. Under the circumstance allowed by air ticket, he can take the trip again after changing the departure date before the ticket validity. Or he has to refund the ticket in time to avoid loss.
