OceanSTAR Elite group of companies (OSEG) has proudly launched the “Innovative Support System for a 10 MW Floating Offshore Wind Turbine (FOWT)” project, marking a significant stride in collaborative research and development. This initiative is a partnership with OceanSTAR Elite and CSSC Chengxi Shipyard Co. Ltd, based in Jiangsu, China, alongside Jiangsu University of Science and Technology. It gains substantial support from government bodies Enterprise Singapore and the Jiangsu Department of Science and Technology, through the Singapore-China YRD (Jiangsu) Joint Innovation program.
瀚辰精英集团（OSEG）日前启动了“10兆瓦浮式海上风机（FOWT）创新支撑系统”科研项目，这标志着瀚辰精英在研发方面迈出的重要的一步。这次研发是瀚辰精英（新加坡）和中国澄西船舶修造有限公司以及江苏科技大学的合作，得到了新加坡企业发展局和江苏省科学技术厅的新加坡-中国长三角（江苏）联合创新计划的大力支持。
In alignment with its strategic pivot from the traditional oil & gas sector, OSEG has established a New Energy department, dedicated to ramping up efforts in the research & development, design, and EPC service of innovative floating energy solutions. As of December 2023, OceanSTAR has successfully completed two floating windfarm design projects and one CCUS design project, underlining the company’s dedication and progress in the renewable energy domain.
作为从传统石油和天然气行业战略延伸的一部分，瀚辰精英已经建立了一个新能源部门，致力于在研发、设计和EPC服务方面加大对创新浮式能源解决方案的努力。截至2023年12月，瀚辰精英已成功完成了两个浮动风电场设计项目和一个CCUS设计项目，凸显了公司在可再生能源领域的探索和进步。
The initiation of this joint R&D project marks a pivotal achievement for OSEG, emphasizing its commitment to the clean energy transition. The company is set to further delve into the clean energy landscape, seeking investment and collaboration opportunities across offshore wind, floating solar, and LNG vessels, expanding its capabilities in these areas.
本次联合研发项目的启动标志着瀚辰精英的一个关键里程碑，强调了其对新能源战略的承诺。公司将进一步深入新能源领域，寻求在海上风能、浮动太阳能和液化天然气船舶等领域的投资和合作机会，扩大在这些领域的能力。
In a parallel development, OSEG has solidified a cooperation agreement with DMAR (DMAR Engineering Inc.), leveraging OSEG’s prowess and experience in Engineering service and extended EPC solution alongside DMAR’s technologies in TLP (Tension Leg Platform). This partnership signifies a milestone in the windfarm market explore, showcasing the synergistic potential of combining OSEG with DMAR to foster innovation in renewable energy solutions.
