On July 11, 2025, OceanSTAR Elite Group (“OceanSTAR” or “OSE”) successfully held the keel-laying ceremony for its LDV Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) unit at Nantong Strongwind Shipyard in Tongzhou Bay, China. This event marks a significant milestone in the project’s journey, following the successful steel cutting ceremony earlier in February 2025.
The ceremony was attended by key stakeholders, including representatives from Murphy Cuu Long Bak Oil Company, PTSC Asia Pacific, ABS, and Titan Wind Offshore. Their presence underscored the collaborative efforts behind this innovative project, which is progressing ahead of schedule, thanks to the strong cooperation between OSE, its clients, and partners.
The LDV FSO project is being developed with a storage capacity of 460,000 barrels and follows the EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) model to meet the operational needs of the LDV oil field. By integrating state-of-the-art technologies, the project is set to optimize energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and contribute to the sustainable development of offshore oilfield operations. The project is on track for delivery in mid-2026.

The success of the keel-laying ceremony not only moves the project closer to its delivery target but also highlights OSE’s technical expertise and the spirit of innovation achieved through collaboration with industry partners.
As the project approaches the halfway point, we are proud to report that the team has maintained a flawless safety record, with 0 LTI to date.
