JOB POSITION
Position Title: Sales Engineer
Reports to:Regional/Area Sales Manager
Locations: Beijing/Shanghai, China
SUMMARY :
●This position is responsible for reviewing, interpreting,and processing both Customer inquiry and orders. Manages all the orders following Crane standard procedures. Ensues all the projects and MROs are executed on time and at the same time meet customer satisfaction standard set by Crane.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage and coach current distributors based on company regional and the distributors selling strategy.
Collects new project and MRO information on assigned territories, analyzes the project opportunities, and identifies key project.
- Updates key project and MRO status, including but not limited to budget, schedule, and customer’s key challenges against phase review objectives in GPT/GPM. (Global Project Tracker/Global Project Management System).
- Maintains and develops customer relationship.
- Prepare quotation and formal bidding by working closely with Inside Sales team and Crane Sites.
Working closely with Inside Sales team and Crane Sites to fulfill technical agreement and commercial negotiation.
- Takes an active part in various business activities of the company with team spirit. Timely reflects the feedback and information from market and makes reasonable suggestions to Area/Regional Sales Managers.
- Prepares and maintains required reports and forms related to daily sales activities, correspondence, etc.
- Any other relevant sales duties on ad hoc.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE :
- At least three years proven (successful) project sales/MRO sales/key account sales working experience related vertical industry.
- Outstanding and competitive knowledge of industry process application, valve technical background is a plus.
- Strong communication and negotiation capability.
- Excellent teamwork spirit.
- Good inter-personal communication skills.
- Basic English literature.
JOB POSITION
Position Title: Application Engineer
Reports to:Inside Sales Manager, CPE China
Locations:Shanghai/Beijing, China
SUMMARY :
●Supply technical supports to Sales and work with sales team together to follow up sales strategy and sales metrics.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- According to technical specification, communicate with Sales and Crane sites to finalize the technical proposal.
- Support the sales on technical communication with customers.
- Confirm the quotation and commercial items, prepare the technical bidding documents, and assist sales on technical explanation.
- Timely update project information in system and contract information in order management system.
- Place the order to system according to final contract after checking the technical conditions and commercial terms, and be in charge of communication with plants about technical problems if needs.
- Have over the contracts to Logistics Rep. to implement.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE :
- Educated to degree level in a technical subject e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing
- At least 3 years related experiences
- Good command of communication skills
- Have a strong sense of customer-oriented service standard
- Proficiency in English
