一个9岁的孩子，外表阳光帅气、眼神澄澈地透着一股睿智，对人亲和且彬彬有礼，这大概就是童话里王子的形象吧。可当他换上足球鞋，踏上绿茵场的一刹那，他变得机警而凌厉，仿佛像潘帕斯草原上空盘旋的雄鹰一般，仔细观察着场上形势的变化，总能抓住合适的时机，毫无畏惧的下地飞铲，将对手的进攻破坏，化险为夷。这个亦静亦动、勇敢坚毅的孩子就是Jeffrey。
A nine-year-old sunny and handsome boy, hisspirits always spark like clear water, and you can see the wisdom through hiskind but penetrating eyes, what’s more he is such a little gentleman whichcould make you believe that he is just the prince from fairytales. However ,when he gets on his football shoes and step on the pitch, he turns to so arguteand sharp, like an eagle flying over the Pampas. Reading the game carefully ,he is always able to make tackles without any fear, coming up big every time heis needed. This is the boy ,he is polite ,energetic and brave ,this is Jeffrey .
至今依旧清楚的记得，那是去年7月11日，当时红狮青训在崂山区第一次办足球夏令营，晚上约么六点钟的样子，球场上来了一个小男孩，理着平头、一身动感的训练服，脚下一双湛蓝色的CR7刺客足球鞋格外亮眼。他走过来，主动伸出手，略带腼腆地说：“教练你好，我叫Jeffrey。”就这样，红狮与Jeffrey的故事就开始了。
My memory never fails me , I can recallthat it was 11th of July last year when Qingdao red lions youthacademy summer camp first be operated in laoshan district. At around 6 o’clockin the afternoon, there came a boy with a crew cut who wore the KELME training suitand a pair of blue NIKE CR7 football shoes. He came to me and offered to shakehands, he said ”hi ,I’m Jeffrey ”,introducing himself with slightly shy. This washow the story with Jeffrey and redlions youth training started.
不像俗套的故事始于平淡止于平凡，Jeffrey总是给我们带来不一样的感受，这个孩子确实有着与众不同的地方。在训练过程中，我们已经见惯了不少被过分爱护的孩子，每次教练刚说休息，整个家庭后援团一拥而上，奶奶拿着水壶、爷爷举着扇子、妈妈拿着毛巾给擦汗、爸爸蹲在旁边帮忙系鞋带，这种“四位一体”的待遇看着确实让人“震撼”。
It will never get boring as long as thereis Jeffrey, and this guy is always full of positive energy ,which makes all thecoaches believe that he is a heightened version of a regular kid ,bringingboundless wonder and passionate to his football training sessions. We have seenso many spoiled kids ever joint our training. The moment coaches stop thetraining and let kid take a rest , a whole family backup group would immediatelycome to their baby, grandma taking the water bottle ,grandpa taking the fans ,mom helping him wipe sweat and dad kneeing on the ground tying the baby’sshoelaces. This “four for one” service is so shocked but surly happened so manytimes during our training.
而Jeffrey在休息的时候自己去拿一瓶水，喝完后坐一会儿或者和朋友们讨论着刚刚学得技术动作，然后回到场上等待着训练开始。有一次踢友谊赛，面对身材比自己高大许多的对手，Jeffrey勇敢地上前与之拼抢，然后果断的倒地滑铲将对手的球破坏，又迅速地站起身来带球进攻。有好几次，Jeffrey在与对方的身体对抗中被撞倒，我没有看到他一次因此停止或是哭泣。永不放弃，不停地去拼、去抢、去战斗，这才是真正的足球。
But Jeffrey , when coaches ask players totake rest, would take a bottle of water by himself , drink it and come to his teammatesdiscussing about what they practiced in training sessions , and afterward hewould come back to the pitch waiting for the next exercise. Once in a friendlymatch, Jeffrey has to defend an opponent who is much bigger than him , but henever shows any fear, tough to be tough again, bravely making tackles, tobattling tough balls. Lots of time, Jeffrey was kicked by opponents, but healways chooses to stand up immediately and fight for the ball. Never give up ,this is the quality what the real football boys should have. Being tough andstrong ,fighting for every ball, by doing so those kids will definitely benefita lot from it .
或许用“硬汉”这个词儿来形容Jeffrey还为时尚早，毕竟他还只是个不到10岁的孩子，但是他身上透着的那股气质却是那么坚强那么有韧性。相信Jeffrey长大以后，什么困难都难不倒他，因为他在红狮接受足球训练的时候就已经展现出来这种迎难而上、永不退缩的精神。加油，Jeffrey！
Maybe it is too early to say Jeffrey is a “toughman”, although he is less than 10 years old, he demonstrates an unbeatable temperamentand courage. We strongly convince that Jeffrey will be able to cope with anykinds of troubles when he grows up , because we know this guy has that quality andspirit behove in a real man. Let’s go ,Jeffrey !
