Hello everybody! I am coach Maarten and I wish to say I felt very happy to walk around our youth academy last weekend. We welcomed several new members in Licang and we experienced excellent attendance rates in Laoshan. Current stats show that we are close to approaching 100 active youth members every weekend.
大家好，我是马丁教练。上周末我很高兴的来到了我们红狮足球培训学校的各校区，在李沧校区我们迎来了几位新成员，崂山校区也有很好的出席率。目前，每个周末我们都有近100位青少年学员参加训练。
For this number I didn't take into account the members of our second team yet. Our second team currently counts 20 players and these players can also be seen as our young prospects (aged 16-22). The idea is that students in our club should have the opportunity to train themselves all the way up to our first team. I am therefore also happy to see that our second team is making huge progressions: players received their brand new uniform last Friday and five of them even made their debute in the first team last Saturday. Congratulations, Yu Jinyang, Jiao Ziming, Jiao Ziyuan, Li Zexin and Zakariya!

I believe all the above is bringing us closer to an academy where students of all ages and levels of ability can develop and have a great time. I therefore reckoned it's time to show my appreciation and gratitude to all of you. I highly value all your smiles, efforts and dedication. To further acknowledge this, I will proceed with writing regular columns regarding the youth academy on our social media accounts. In my columns I'll always aim to be informative, but most of all I'll try to capture some of the many happy moments you give me every weekend.
