[Match report] In the fourth round of the Second Pro League we played an away game against Xi'an Daxing Chongde. Even though we were the visitors, we directly took the initiative by frequently launching attacks. The pitch of our opponent was in a very poor condition, which made it difficult for both sides to pass. However, we seemed to cope better with that fact. Zhong Hua almost scored an early goal with a header. In the 17th minute Lian Chen was send deep and got tackled in the penalty area. A penalty was given and Lian Chen didn’t hesitate to put us in the lead. After that first goal, we managed to stay dominant. A volley from Shi Hanjun’s slightly missed target. In the 32nd minute Zhang Zong Zheng got an opportunity in the box. His shot hit the opponent's arm. The referee sentenced another penalty kick. Lian Chen scored his second of the day and this time with a clever Pirlo leap.
In second half Xi'an Daxing Chongde started increasing their attacks and (former Red Lion player) Ye Qian managed to bring his team back with a header (1-2). This seemed to bring spirit to his squad, turning the forces of our playing field. Ten minutes later a penalty was given easily, enabling Xi’an Daxing Chongde the equalizer (2-2). With a vitally important block of Zheng Zhi Hao in the end we left the field just as tripolar as last Wednesday: (1) thankful for not losing; (2) regret for not winning; and (3) optimistic about our chances in this League.
