5月31日下午15:30，青岛红狮迎来2021赛季中乙联赛第一阶段第四轮比赛，在泸西高原足球基地2号场地对阵泉州亚新。最终经过90分钟的较量，青岛红狮1:2遭遇赛季第二场失利。

本场比赛，青岛红狮主教练劳尔·卡内特沿用了上一场比赛的4-3-3的阵型，主力门将刘畅首发出场，四后卫分别为宋华、王浩、张振、辛本堂；中场位置由王新宇搭档邓雨浓和鲁毅，三名锋线球员分别为张宗正、连琛、尹睿安。

In the second minute of add time, No. 17 Lian Chen dribbled the ball and shot, but the ball was blocked by the goalkeeper. At the end of the game, the Qingdao Red Lions lost the game with 1:2. 

赛后，红狮主教练劳尔·卡内特点评了本场比赛，他表示，在领先的情况下被对手逆转非常可惜，我们在上半场创造出来了不少机会，可惜并没有把握住。下半场的点球是比赛的转折点，不过整体来说，今天球员们的表现是值得肯定的，只不过我们没有充分的抓住机会。接下来我们教练组会集中回顾和分析这场比赛，找出不足之处，在接下来的训练中继续提高，全力备战下一场比赛。

After the game, Red Lions head coach Raul Canete commented on this game. He said that it is a pity to be reversed by the opponent while taking the lead. We created a lot of chances in the first half, but unfortunately we did not take it. The penalty kick in the second half was a turning point in the game. but overall, the performance of the players today is good, the only problem is that we did not fully seize the opportunity.
