7月28日下午15:30，青岛红狮迎来2021赛季中乙联赛第一阶段第十四轮比赛，在泸西高原足球基地7号场地对阵上海嘉定汇龙。最终经过90分钟的较量，青岛红狮1:2遭遇失利。

本场比赛，青岛红狮主教练劳尔·卡内特排出了4-2-3-1的阵型，主力门将刘畅首发出场，四后卫分别为辛本堂、赵远、王浩、张振；邓雨浓和王新宇搭档双后腰，旷钧天、贺麒源、张宗正出任前腰位置，连琛担任中锋。

赛后红狮主教练劳尔表达了对本场比赛的看法，他表示，这场比赛我的球员们表现的非常好，大家非常团结，在场上保持专注，我一如既往的为他们的提高感到骄傲。这场比赛的结果不尽如人意，特别是比赛期间有几次足够改变比赛进程判罚需要我们去好好研究。第一阶段的比赛已经全部结束，我们看到了球员和球队的提升，我们还有很长的路要走，继续提升实力，相信球队会有更好的表现。

After the game, Red Lions head coach Raul expressed his views on the game. He said that my players performed very well in this game. They are very united and stay focused on the pitch. As always, I am proud of their improvement. Even though the results of this game were not so satisfied, especially since there were several times questionable referring decisions that sever enough to change the process of the game. The first stage of China League Two has been ended, we have seen the improvement of the players and the team as well. We still have a long way to go and continue to improve our performance and I believe that the team will perform better in the coming games.
