Recently, we received a notification fromSASO regarding the start of implementation of Stage 2 of SASO 2870 – "EnergyEfficiency, Functionality & Labeling Requirements for Lighting Products".
Stage 2 of SASO 2870 sets a new technicalrequirement for In-scope Residential Lighting Products of rated Power below 60W, these products must not exceed the new maximum limit for Energy Efficiency Index(EEI) per Technology whether it is Direct or In-Direct Light Source.
