Title: Scheduling System Specialist (PARAGON)

Role Description:
This is a support and development role focused on the database, systems and scheduling processes which underlie the best operational practice of the PGP scheduling centre. The development function requires the identification of process and technological solutions which will enhance overall distribution capabilities.
Primary Responsibility:
Provide front line support for PARAGON and various systems affected by or from PARAGON data, including calls in off hours or weekends. This includes depot related issues such as trip confirmation or printing of delivery documents
Build the skill set and knowledge base of schedulers through continuous improvement training and
analysis on specific issues;Initial training of all scheduler, coverage and dispatcher staff in use of PARAGON and as appropriate to their role;
Feedback scheduler performance and training needs to Scheduling Manager;
Paragon Master Data -Regular data checks and maintenance to ensure systems are running efficiently.
Coordinate with CSC/IS for commercial issues relating to PARAGON, Meanwhile, Closely work with IS/CSC/FI for any new company setting in system.
Champion the PARAGON workflow and reinforce its use within the scheduling centre, Act as a super user for the PARAGON Manager / Scheduler / GIS etc;
Schedule a location once or twice per month to ensure skill level maintained;
Compile, prioritize and submit to Central team all change requests for system enhancement or bugs
Utilize all analytical tools, including Simulator to ensure Best Operating Practice are pursued;
Calculate scheduling KPI and compose reports on monthly/weekly basis. Submit management reports as per request.
Lead PARAGON system implementation projects in RGC PGP sites.
Other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required key skills (functional/technical):
Be proficient in computer skills on MS-Access, MS-Excel.
Required Qualification:
Degree or equivalent required, majored in logistics / supply chain management preferred.
Good at English in oral and written, be able to communicate with global team.
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a busy call centre environment with changing tasks and a continuous workflow
At least two years working experience, logistics experience preferred.
Prior scheduling experience by using Paragon is highly beneficial.
Knowledge of SAP PTO and OTC processes beneficial.
